Accuracy first

Each calculator is built from documented formulas and published data sources, which we list on the page. Before publishing, we test every calculator against worked examples.

Use of AI

We use AI tools to help write code and draft explanations. A person reviews every page, checks the formulas and figures against the cited sources, and is responsible for what we publish.

Independence

CostWise Lab may earn money from advertising and, in the future, from affiliate links or contractor-matching partners. This never changes the numbers a calculator produces. Paid relationships will always be disclosed on the page where they appear.

Corrections

If you find an error, email contact@costwiselab.com. We review reports promptly and note significant corrections on the page.
